DAMPAK HELIKOPTER PARENTING TERHADAP KEMANDIRIAN ANAK

Penerapan pola asuh helikopter atau Helicopter parenting muncul karena banyaknya tuntutan orang tua terhadap keadaan yang dialami anak, sehingga akan menjadi bumerang bagi anak. Gaya pengasuhan helikopter dapat berdampak buruk pada kemandirian anak. Anak-anak terbiasa bergantung pada orang tuanya. Anak mandiri membutuhkan dukungan dan kepercayaan dari orang tuanya untuk memberikan kesempatan dalam mengambil keputusan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan studi literatur yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan hasil-hasil. hasil kajian dari beberapa jurnal, buku, dan dokumen lainnya. Penerapan pola asuh ini menjadikan orang tua kurang percaya diri dalam membesarkan anak, orang tua yang terlalu overprotektif dalam mengawasi anak, sehingga anak tidak mengalami perkembangan kemandirian saat anak memasuki usia dewasa.
