AKTIVITAS ANTIBAKTERI JAMUR ENDOFITIK RS-2 YANG DIISOLASI DARI TUMBUHAN SAMBILOTO (Andrographis paniculata)

Andrographis paniculata yang dikenal dengan tumbuhan sambiloto dilaporkan menghasilkan berbagai metabolit sekunder dengan aktivitas antibakteri. Potensi senyawa antibakteri dari tumbuhan ini dapat dikaji lebih lanjut dari jamur yang berasosiasi dengan tumbuhan sambiloto. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah menganalisis potensi jamur endofitik yang berasosiasi dengan ranting tumbuhan sambiloto. Hasil inokulasi terhadap tumbuhan sambiloto menghasilkan jamur endofitik dengan kode RS-2. Uji aktivitas antibakteri terhadap ekstrak jamur RS-2 mengindikasikan bahwa jamur RS-2 mampu menghambat pertumbuhan dua bakteri uji dengan konsentrasi 1%, 3%, dan 5%. Studi lebih lanjut terkait senyawa bioaktif yang berkontribusi dalam aktivitas antibakteri jamur RS-2 perlu dilanjutkan.
