PROFIL EFIKASI DIRI PESERTA DIDIK SEKOLAH MENENGAH PADA PEMBELAJARAN KESETIMBANGAN KIMIA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil efikasi diri peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran kimia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriftif statistik. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 47 peserta didik yang berasal dari kelas XI MIPA 2 dan XI MIPA 3 SMAN Tanjungpinang yang menjadi satu kelompok penelitian. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data menggunakan angket efikasi diri yang sudah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel digunakan setelah melalui tahapan validasi teoritis dan validasi empiris. Analisis terhadap profil efikasi diri peserta didik dilakukan dengan mengkategorikan skor jumlah peserta didik terhadap setiap butir penyataan tentang motivasi diri dan perubahan sikap diri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lebih dari 50% dari 47 peserta didik sudah memiliki efikasi diri yang baik selama mengikuti proses pembelajaran kimia. Selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis android peserta didik menunjukkan efikasi diri mereka diantaranya mereka lebih aktif, disiplin dalam belajar dan mengikuti pembelajaran dengan penuh semangat. Perlunya kedepan dilakukan penelitian dengan sampel dalam skala besar dan dalam jangan waktu yang lama untuk mengetahui profil efikasi diri peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran materi kesetimbangan kimia.
