Abstract

This study aims was to determined the effect of rGH and the best dosage of rGH on the growth and survival of white snapper juvenile. This research was conducted on September to October 2019 for 43 days which was held at the Department of Marine and Fisheries Resources Control, Bintan Islands, Riau Islands. This research was used completely randomized design (CRD) methode with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Data was analysed with One-Way ANOVA, the results showed that the rGH hormone gave effect on white snapper juvenile, where the best treatment was on treatment C with rGH hormone 10 mg / kg of feed which where absolute weight growth value was 27.74 g, daily weight growth rate was 0.55 g , absolute length growth was 2.47 cm, daily length growth rate was 0.05 cm, Survival Rate was 95.55%, FCR was 3,64, and feed efficiency was 31,40%
