The Effect of Social Assistance Policy Implementation on Community Economic Improvement during the Pandemic Period in Cilegon City

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the implementation of social assistance policies in the distribution program of Cash Direct Assistance towards improving the community's economy during the covid-19 period. This research is classified as a deductive research. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quantitative descriptive research design. The population in this study were kelurahan employees, neighborhood RT/RW, and local communities. The sampling technique used in this study is Non Probability Sampling with purposive sampling type with a sample of 42 families. The data analysis technique used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis technique.
The results of this study indicate that the implementation of social assistance policies in the distribution of BLT has a positive and significant impact on the community's economic improvement by 26%. Meanwhile, jointly the implementation of social assistance policies in the distribution of BLT has a significant effect on increasing the economy of the community by Fcount>Ftable (4,541>4.08).
