The editorial team and management of the Jurnal Ilmiah Akuntansi dan Finansial Indonesia (JIAFI) extend their sincere appreciation to all parties who have contributed to the management and publication of the journal’s manuscripts. These parties include the Rector of Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji, the leadership of the Faculty of Maritime Economics and Business, the Head of the Accounting study program, as well as all partners and reviewers from various universities across Indonesia and abroad. 

Jurnal Ilmiah Akuntansi dan Finansial Indonesia (JIAFI), published by the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Maritime Economics and Business, Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH), serves as a scholarly publication platform that features research findings, theoretical studies, and critical perspectives in the fields of accounting, finance, and business. The primary objective of JIAFI is to provide an academic forum for researchers, practitioners, and scholars to disseminate relevant and up-to-date scientific findings that contribute to the advancement of knowledge through an online publication format. Moreover, the journal contributes to the development of scientific knowledge by offering insights and considerations for corporate management, practitioners, regulators, and investors through new perspectives derived from the research published in JIAFI.

The Jurnal Ilmiah Akuntansi dan Finansial Indonesia (JIAFI) is published biannually, in October and April each year, with the October issue designated as Number 1 and the April issue as Number 2. The inaugural publication, Volume 1, Number 1, was released in October 2017. In each edition, JIAFI provides opportunities for academics, researchers, scholars, and practitioners to publish research findings, studies, conceptual works, and analyses in the fields of accounting and finance at the national, regional, and international levels, with practical implications for society. The journal encompasses two primary clusters of scholarly focus, namely:
