The first article, Smart Election Governance and Public Participation in Indonesia’s Electoral Process, by Erny Simatupang and Ruth Dian Christiani, examines the development of smart governance in Indonesia’s electoral system. The article emphasizes how digital innovation, institutional accountability, and public participation can strengthen electoral transparency and democratic legitimacy. The second article, Equitable Maritime-Based Investment in Kepulauan Riau: Evaluation of Policy and Regional Development Direction, by Yeni Yustina and Yustin Dhamayanti, evaluates maritime-based investment policy in Kepulauan Riau within the broader framework of regional development. The study discusses how investment strategies should be directed toward equitable growth, particularly by balancing economic expansion with local welfare, maritime connectivity, and regional competitiveness. The third article, Implementation of the Merah Putih Cooperative Policy in Supporting the Free Nutritious Food Programme for School Students, by Raja Enkla Kurniadinta Putri Rahmina and Rendyta Anggraini, explores the role of the Merah Putih Cooperative policy in supporting the implementation of the Free Nutritious Food Programme for students. The article highlights the cooperative model as an institutional mechanism for strengthening food distribution, local economic participation, and school-based nutrition governance.The fourth article, Galang Batang Special Economic Zone: Downstreaming Strategy and Economic Transformation of Bintan, by Dwi Haryani and Riri Oktaviani, analyzes the strategic role of the Galang Batang Special Economic Zone in promoting downstream industrialization and economic transformation in Bintan. The study explains how special economic zones can function as engines of regional growth through industrial development, investment attraction, and value-added production. The final article, E-Certificate Policy in Equivalency Education: Opportunities, Challenges, and Its Impact on the Recognition of Non-Formal Graduates in Indonesia, by Zurmi Afriani and Fepi Trimunir Haryanto, investigates the implementation of e-certificate policy in equivalency education. The article discusses the opportunities offered by digital certification in improving administrative efficiency, graduate recognition, and access to formal employment or further education pathways.
