Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of different salinity to time of the egg yolk absorption of silver pompano Tranchinotus blochii. The study uses complete random design (RAL) 3 treatments, namely A (26 ppt), B (28 ppt), C (30 ppt) with 3 replication in each treatment. The results of the study sowet that the treatment  C (30 ppt) has the best egg yolk absorption time i.e  48.05 hours, egg yolk Volume 9,185,681 µm3, the rate of absorption of yolk 687,962 µm3/hours. The conclusion of this study is the treatment C (30 ppt) can accelerate time absorption of yolk larvae silver pompano (48.05 hours) and the body organs development (early formad at 0 hours and perfect at 42 hours).
