Effect of the method of giving recombinant growth hormone (Rgh) to the growth of clown fish seeds (Amphiprion Percula)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best method and the effect of the hormone rGH on the growth of clown fish seeds. This research was conducted at the Wet Laboratory of the Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries at the Maritime University of Raja Ali Haji. in May 2019 for 30 days in the method used was experimental with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Using data analysis with One-Way ANOVA showed that the combination method of rGH hormone produced the best growth, where absolute weight growth (84 mg), absolute length growth (3,3 mm), specific growth rate (0, 29%), survival (83.33%).
