Abstract

ABSTRACT:  Since the COVID-19 pandemic happened, gradually all learning activities are directed to be carried out by online. One of the alternative that can be used is through Google Classroom because Google Classroom can be used on PC and smartphone, making it easier for users. The purpose of this research is to know students's responses to the learning process of biology through Google Classroom at UMRAH. This type of research is descriptive. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the learning process through the Google Classroom at the UMRAH received a fairly good response from aspects related to conventional learning. Then, a good response from the aspect of attractiveness, the formation of student character, ease and benefits of use. Students also gave very good responses related to the efficient use of their usage time.

ABSTRAK:  Sejak pandemi COVID-19 terjadi, secara berangsur-angsur seluruh aktivitas pembelajaran diarahkan untuk dapat dilakukan secara daring. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah melalui Google Classroom karena dapat digunakan pada PC dan smartphone, sehingga memudahkan pengguna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap proses pembelajaran biologi melalui Google Classroom di UMRAH. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket. Teknik analisis data adalah statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran melalui Google Classroom di UMRAH mendapat respon yang cukup baik dari aspek yang terkait dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Kemudian, respons yang baik dari aspek daya tarik, pembentukan karakter mahasiswa, kemudahan dan manfaat penggunaan. Mahasiswa juga memberikan tanggapan yang sangat baik terkait dengan efisiensi penggunaan waktu penggunaan mereka.
