Isolation and Identification of Lactid Acid Bacteria from Intestine of Silver pompano (Trachinotus blochii)

Abstrak

The purposes of this study were to isolation and identification the Lactid acid bacteria from intestine of silver pompano (Trachinotus blochii).  This study were did by In-vitro.  The procedur of this study were isolated the lactid acid bacteria from intestine of Silver pompano, colony morphology test, bacteria cell morphology test, the Gram stain, catalase test, motility test, fermentation type test, fermentation of carbohidrate test and physiology test.  The study results got four lactid acid bacteria isolates consist of B7-P4-K2, B8-P4-K1, B8-P4-K3 and B10-P4-K2. The morphology colony shown spherical and white, morphology cell shown bacil and cocci with positive Gram stain, non-motil and negative catalase test. Based on the identification B7-P4-K2 and B8-P4-K1 isolates were Lactobacillus genus, and B8-P4-K3 and 10-P4-K1 isolates were Enterecoccus genus.
