PENDAMPINGAN PERMOHONAN PENDAFTARAN MEREK SECARA ELEKTRONIK BAGI UMKM DI KOTA TANJUNGPINANG

Abstract

Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Marks and Geographical Indications has made it easy for the public to apply for trademark registration. The ease of applying for registration of this mark can be done electronically through the dgip.go.id page of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. This electronic submission mechanism applies to all people, either through an Intellectual Property Rights Consultant or independently. Especially for Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises, they even have cost reduction facilities by obtaining recommendations from certain agencies in Tanjungpinang City, such as the Office of Culture and Tourism, the Office of Trade and Industry, the Office of Manpower, Cooperatives, and Micro Enterprises, the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Community Empowerment. With this mentoring activity, it is hoped that MSME actors can be motivated to register their trademarks and can understand the procedures for electronic trademark registration, and can apply for trademark registration either through the Tanjungpinang City KI Center or independently through the dgip.go.id page.
