Network Monitoring System Menggunakan Nagios dengan Event Handler Notifikasi Whatsapp

Abstract

Network monitoring system is very important because its systems were increasingly complex. For this reason, regular maintenance of the network is needed so that it can run as it should. Therefore we need a facility that can monitor the network. Nagios is an open source-based network monitoring application that has many features such as monitoring, notification alerts, event handlers, and others. The results of the test show that Nagios can detect changes in host status down and up in less than 2 minutes, event handlers can record host status and restart problematic services. Nagios can also monitor host bandwidth usage, send host down notifications in less than 3 minutes, and send host bandwidth usage according to the time period applied by having a delay of less than 10 seconds
