Perubahan Interaksi Sosial Masyarakat Pedesaan Sejak Pandemi COVID 19

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the phenomena and changes in the social interactions of the poor community after the Covid 19 pandemic. As we all know that since the Covid 19 pandemic has hit all over the world, a lot of physical activity has been stopped outside the home. Various ways have been taken by the government to reduce the spread of the corona virus, especially in Indonesia. One of the efforts that are currently still being carried out is the existence of large-scale social restrictions or abbreviated as (PSBB). The activities that are limited include: learning and teaching activities, activities, religion, celebration activities, social activities and others, all of which are limited or reduced by the number of participants in an activity. The limitations of physical activities outside the home have made Indonesians begin to switch to activities and all their physical activities to the virtual world and the completely online world. Interaction through the online world is also not only carried out by urban people, but people in villages have also started to interact in the completely online world. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, documentation and interviews. The theories used in this study include the theory of rural sociology, the theory of social change and the theory of social interaction. This is to find out what forms of social interaction are carried out by rural people through social media or the online world.
