Penyadartahuan Larangan dan Ancaman terhadap Penangkapan dan Perdagangan Penyu melalui Media Poster di Desa Lalowaru dan Desa Ranooharaya

Threats to sea turtles in nature are newly hatched turtles which are prone to death caused by threats from animals such as birds, reptiles and crabs. The biggest threat to sea turtles is humans. Human exploitation of animals is a conservation challenge in the 21st- century. The sea turtles population in the world in the last 30 years has been exploited by humans. The percentage level of exploitation of turtle species consists of 39% hawksbill turtles and 56% green turtles (Senko et al., 2022). Optimizing the government's efforts to protect sea turtles as law number 5 of 1990, government regulation number 7 of 1999 and in regulation of the minister of environment and forestry number. 16 of 2018. The purpose of the service is to provide knowledge to the target community to recognize protected fish resources and instill community concern in preserving fish resources, limiting trade and consumption of protected fish resources. Community service activities are carried out in several stages: observation, poster media design, preparing poster models for erringering information that will be used in socialization activies. Consists of determining the size of banner designing information senteces, and determing the material for banners and pamphlets, permitting poster media, monitoring and evaluation of poster media performance. The result show that most of visitors are interest and understand the content of the poster. The initiation of the formation of a sea turtle observer association is more likely to occur in Ranooharaya Village, Moramo District.
