A common problem in seed production is the high rate of larval mortality or the still low rate of survival. This study was about administering different doses of squid oil on the surface of the water to determine the best dose of barramundi larvae survival rate (L. calcarifer). The method used is a Complete RandomIzed Design (RAL) with 5 treatments and 3 replays namely K: No squid oil, A: Squid oil 0.1 ml/m2, B: Squid oil 0.2 ml/m2, C: Squid oil 0.3 ml/m2, D: Squid oil 0.4 ml/m2. Data analysis using One-Way ANOVA and duncan advanced tests showed the best live graduation rate occurred on C treatment (24.53±2.66%), the best absolute length occurred on A treatment (1.16 ± 0.04) cm. The results of the study showed that C treatment is the best treatment.
