Gread of Efficiency of Feed and Growth of Silver Pompano Seeds with Different Growth of Growth Hormone (rGH) Doses

Abstract

The aims of this study to determine the effect of the best rGH and rGH dose on
feed efficiency and growth of silver pompano. This research was conducted in
May 2017 for 35 days at the Pengujan Village Fish Seed Hall, Bintan Riau
Islands. The method used was experimental with a completely randomized design
(CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 replications. Using data analysis with One-Way
ANOVA shows that the hormone rGH gives effect to pomfret seeds at a dose of 6
mg/kg of feed where the feed efficiency is 72.06 % of the final body weight
growth of 12.47 g and absolute weight growth of 9.78 g.
